Studio Tisch 22nd Anniversary Season Application!
Monday, March 7, 2011 at 06:25PM Do you need space to workshop a project, develop a bare bones production, or give a staged reading of a new play? Or perhaps you have an idea for a solo show that has been nagging you for months or years, and need the rehearsal space to play around with it? Or do you have something completely different? It’s up to you. Studio Tisch is here to support you!
We provide rehearsal and performance space, light and sound equipment, dressing rooms, limited publicity, and moral support. What’s the catch? What do we expect in return?
Here are the guidelines.
Last summer, Studio Tisch supported over 20 projects from alumni spanning 30 years in the NYU Graduate Acting Program. Our season concluded with the highly successful Studio Tisch Cabaret -- which raised funds for The Big Walk/The Batima Tené Cochran Scholarship.
Come join in the fun with your fellow alumni!

Studio Tisch Application 2011 – for bare bones productions, workshops, readings or private rehearsal space.![]()
Applications are due no later than Friday, April 15th. The 2011 Season will be publicly announced in early May. Rehearsal space will become available mid-May. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at studiotisch@gradactingalumni.org
**For those of you who wish to submit the application electronically, please make sure to follow these instructions**:
1) Save the document to your computer immediately before you begin typing in any of the fields.
2) Fill in all the appropriate fields of information.
3) SAVE AS A PDF: Before you send anything to us, please make sure to save your document as a pdf. NOTE: This is different then just saving the document again (or "save asing" the doc).
What you need to do in order save the doc as a pdf is, once you are finished filling everything out hit the "PRINT" button. Your print options will pop up and from there you will click the "PDF" button on the lower left corner of your screen. A drop down menu will appear from which you will want to choose "SAVE AS PDF" (or something to that effect). This locks the application in a way so that no one else can touch the fields you have filled out.
We look forward to reading your proposal!
